Four Key Questions with Ron Blue

December 3, 2018

A recent study showed that the average person faces about 70 questions a day running the gamut of importance… everything from what color socks to wear to whether today’s the day to propose to your girlfriend.  But when it comes to money, Christians face four key questions and the answers reveal a great deal about what’s going on inside. Financial planner and teacher Rob West explores this with Kingdom Advisers cofounder Ron Blue.

On this MoneyWise Live, Rob West and Ron Blue go over four questions that Christians need to answer to diagnose the condition of the heart relating to money.

  • Do I believe that God owns it all?
  • Do I believe that God’s Word speaks to money?
  • Do I believe that I have enough right now? (Am I content?)
  • Am I using the supernatural wisdom that has been given to me?

Next, Rob and Steve answer these questions at 800-525-7000 or via email at Questions@MoneyWiseLive.org:

  • If your husband of age 77 has about $350,000 in a savings account earning little interest because he's afraid the market will loose a lot of it, should you try to convince him otherwise?
  • If you're retired and drawing Social Security with about $200,000 in a 403b, should you move it out of the managed fund and into something else?
  • When you interview your potential financial advisors, what should you ask of them?
  • If your wife assumed the role of stay-home-mom a few years ago but you think she should probably go back to work, how do you convey this to her without sounding selfish?
  • If you believe in tithing 10% on your gross but just cannot make ends meet as a single mom with 3 children, how do you manage this problem?
