Connecting the Dots Between Faith and Finances with Sharon Epps

April 10, 2019

Most Christians understand the spiritual concept of stewardship, but don’t always carry it into practical matters.  Rob West and Steve Moore are joined by Sharon Epps of Kingdom Advisors to discuss how we can actually handle the resources God’s given us – how we can connect the dots between faith and finances.

Then, Rob and Steve answer listener questions at 800-525-7000 or Questions@MoneyWise.org about the following:

  • What’s the best way to pay down credit cards with a tax refund with the goal being to raise my credit score?
  • Are online banks safe, and are online savings accounts better or worse than a savings account at your local bank?  (Rob discussed CapitalOne.com, Marcus.com, and Ally.com.  Steve also suggested looking into credit unions.)

At the end of the program, Steve mentioned The Sound Mind Investing Handbook by Austin Pryor.  You can find it on this website (MoneyWise.org).  You can also connect with a MoneyWise Coach or access our other books and many free helpful resources.  If you’re active on social media, you can find us on Facebook (MoneyWise Media) and join the conversation.
